While some may argue that Chinese is one of the most challenging languages to learn, it is also a language full of fun and fascinating aspects. In this project, I created a promotional motion graphic video for an imaginary online platform called studychinese.com, which teaches Chinese to non-Chinese speakers. I decided to focus on the ease of learning Chinese by highlighting simple pictographic Chinese characters and demonstrating how they have evolved from ancient times to present day. I opted for a Chinese painting style in my motion graphic. Through this project, I aim to inspire and motivate people to learn Chinese by showcasing its beauty and accessibility.
